Less than 4lbs on your shoulder and the cost of renting a "tailgating tent" for a week at the beach. Best thing about it is that it is yours....forever! Easy enough for one person to set up, and enough shade for six adults and all your gear (and kids too).
Shibumis are not returnable. If there is a manufacturer defect, we can replace if we have in stock. If not in stock you will have to contact Shibumi directly (they are awesome guys and will do their best to make you happy).
Shibumis are allowed in Sunset Beach so long as they are erected in the “cabana line” which abuts the emergency access, near the dune-line. The tie-down must go straight down as opposed to out in front of the Shibumi.
On Tuesday, July 13, 2021 Ocean Isle Beach approved Shibumis for use in OIB. They must be erected within 25' from the base of the dunes-line. Some people have erected Shibumis on the Intracoastal Waterway/Shallotte River Inlet islands behind OIB without problems, but it is unclear as to what jurisdiction this Intracoastal Waterway island falls under.
From our understanding, Holden Beach does not have any restrictions on Shibumis.
You are responsible for checking with the jurisdiction of the beach(es) you plan to use the Shibumi BEFORE you purchase a Shibumi.
